Who we are
A field-based alliance for Bangladesh’s wildlife
Nature Conservation Alliance (NCA) brings together rescuers, researchers and educators who care about the wild species of Bangladesh.
Our work starts in the field — answering rescue calls, documenting what we find and returning animals to suitable habitat — and continues in classrooms and communities, where better knowledge means fewer conflicts between people and wildlife.
- Respond to wildlife in danger
- Record what we find
- Share what we learn
What we do
Six areas of conservation work
-
Wildlife rescue & safe release
Responding to animals in danger or in conflict with people, and returning them to suitable habitat.
-
Wildlife research
Recording species, locations and outcomes so conservation decisions rest on evidence.
-
Snake identification & education
Helping people tell venomous from harmless snakes and respond safely to bites.
-
Biodiversity conservation
Protecting the variety of species and habitats that keep ecosystems working.
-
Forest & tree conservation
Supporting the forests, groves and trees that wildlife depends on.
-
Environmental awareness
Sessions, publications and media that build understanding and respect for nature.
Field rescue logs
Our rescue work in numbers
Live figures calculated from NCA’s published rescue records. They update automatically every time a record is added or changed.
- 1 Total rescues Published rescue records
- 1 Districts covered Where rescues took place
- 1 Rescues in 2026 So far this year
Research
Documenting biodiversity, one record at a time
Every rescue, survey and sighting adds to a picture of where species live and what threatens them. We keep careful records and share what we learn.
Forests & trees
Habitat is the foundation of everything we protect
Wildlife cannot recover without the forests, wetlands and village groves it lives in. We support tree conservation and habitat protection alongside our rescue work.
Join the people protecting wildlife
Volunteer with field rescues, awareness sessions, photography or data work. Training comes first — safety always does.
